Among the Geography of Pattaya city

Pattaya, set off the Gulf of Thailand, is something like 145 km south of the city of Bangkok, surrounded by Bang Lamung District.

The city of Pattaya is a distinctive municipal city which covers the full tambon Nong Prue (Nongprue) and Na Kluea (Naklua) and elements of Huai Yai and Nong Pla Lai. Bang Lamung township which forms the northern border of Pattaya covers sections of the tambon Bang Lamung (Banglamung), Nong Pla Lai and Takhian Tia. Bang Sali is on the southern border of Pattaya.

“Greater Pattaya” occupies nearly all of the shoreline of Banglamung (one of the eleven areas that comprise Chonburi Province). It is divided into a bigger northern portion which ranges the parts to the east of Naklua Beach (the the majority of northern beach) and Pattaya Beach (the main beach) and besides the Buddha Hill headland (directly south of Pattaya Beach), and a lesser southern area over the area to the east of Jomtien Beach (which lies right south of Buddha Hill) in addition to Dongtan Beach. There is a times gone by for Pattaya
